A testimony was once shared at the Redeemed Camp about a child whose parent was a member of the church. The child was kidnapped by ritualists and was about to be killed. In fear, the child shouted the name of Jesus. They ordered him to keep quiet, and out of fear, he began to call the name of Jesus silently in his heart, showing the importance to understand your authority in Christ—even in the most dangerous situations, the name of Jesus carries power, protection, and victory when wielded in faith.
At the moment the man lifted his hand to strike the child, his hand could not come down. Immediately, the child was released and escaped unharmed.
This is one testimony among many similar ones we have heard over time.
If you are a child of God and you are still afraid that people can take things from your body—your hair, clothes, fingernails, menstrual blood, and the like—and use them against you, then you may not yet understand who you truly are. You may need to grow your faith a little more to realize that such things do not work against people who truly belong to God.
When you know your authority you won't wait for God to do what you should do.
The laws that bind people in one country do not necessarily bind people in another. In the same way, hear me, child of God: your kingdom is different from the kingdom where these powers operate. Yes, it may have worked against someone you know, but it will not work against you.
I was once in a WhatsApp group where people shared the phone number of a woman, claiming she was a “mammy water” spirit and that anyone who called or received a call from her number would die. I immediately picked up my phone and called the number. The phone rang, but she did not answer. When I told them I had just called the number, they said I was lying. I did it because I know who I am.
Fear stopped a lot of people from using their authority, don't let fear stop you.
Yes, I have met a man on the island who told me how he nearly died after answering a strange phone call, if not for God’s intervention. I have also met someone who refused to use a phone at all because he believed powers of darkness could use it against him. From the way he spoke, you could tell he was not joking.
I share all this to make one thing clear: these things exist, and I am not denying their existence. However, they do not operate in our kingdom. What kills people in another kingdom cannot kill us in our kingdom. What affects lives in another kingdom does not affect our lives.
Stop allowing people to make you live in fear if you are truly born again.
Have you not heard the words of Jesus?

“Behold, I give unto you power to tread on serpents and scorpions, and over all the power of the enemy: and nothing shall by any means hurt you.”
Think about this: if you were to walk on hot coals and they could not harm you, do you think they would suddenly harm you if someone tried to use them against you from a distance?
If you are still afraid of the things mentioned above, then you need to study and understand who you are as a child of God and the kingdom to which you belong.
The devil is a bully, learn to stand up to your bully.
The devil takes advantage of believers mostly when they do not know who they are or what belongs to them.
My dear, you are a child of the King of kings and the Lord of lords. He knew that all these things existed before He sent you into this world.
