Your Healing Can Be Stolen: How to Stand in Faith and Keep Your Testimony

You have probably heard, or even witnessed, someone get healed, testify about it, and then later see the sickness return. Situations like this can be very confusing, especially when the person involved does not know how to respond. What started as joy can quickly turn into doubt and fear. If not handled properly, it can even become dangerous to one’s faith, highlighting how faith and obedience release God’s miraculous power when we remain steadfast and act according to His Word.

But there is a way to keep your healing and maintain your testimony. It is not by fear or panic, but by standing your ground in faith. Many people lose what God has done because they do not know what to do when symptoms try to return. If you understand how to respond, you can remain established in your healing.

The Devil Wants to Invalidate Your Testimony

Before I share what to do, you must understand something very important. The enemy takes pleasure in trying to reverse anything you have testified about. Once you speak of God’s goodness, he attempts to bring the situation back to its former state. His goal is to make you doubt and believe that nothing truly happened.

But you must refuse to believe him. The devil is a liar, and his mission is to steal, kill, and destroy. Hold firmly to what God has done in your life, regardless of what you feel or see. If you stay grounded in faith, what God has done will remain permanent, remembering that healing is the children’s bread—a provision God freely gives to those who trust in Him.

How to Stand Your Ground

Let me share my story so you can understand this better. There was a time I had persistent pain in my leg that would not go away. Out of concern, I even took a razor blade to check what could be causing it, but I found nothing. Despite that, I chose to believe in God’s healing power and testified that the pain was gone.

A few days later, the pain returned. It felt as though nothing had changed, and the enemy began to whisper doubts into my mind. He tried to convince me that the pain was still there and that my testimony was not real. At that moment, I had a choice—to agree with what I felt or stand on what I believed.

I chose to stand in faith. I struck my leg and boldly declared, “The pain is gone, and gone forever!” Even though I could still feel the discomfort, I refused to accept it as truth. Instead, I continued to confess my healing until what I believed began to take full effect, relying on the power of the Word of God to bring what was spoken into full manifestation.

Why Confession Matters

Every child of God has the right to live free from pain and sickness. Jesus has already borne our pains so that we can walk in freedom. But that freedom must be enforced through faith, and one of the ways we do that is through consistent confession. What you say repeatedly shapes what you eventually experience.

Sometimes, the manifestation of your confession may not be immediate. It may take days, or even longer, before what you are declaring becomes visible. But you must not stop speaking. Continue declaring your healing until your reality aligns with your faith, learning to say what you want to see and trust God to bring it to pass.

For me, after consistently standing in faith and confessing, the pain eventually disappeared completely. Since then, I have not felt it again. So I say this to you as a reminder: do not lose your testimony, no matter what the enemy does. Stand firm, keep confessing, and watch your victory become permanent.
